International Affairs Advisory Council
Purpose: To help advance internationalization efforts at the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ).
Goal: To enable the Office of International Affairs to carry out its mission more effectively by mobilizing external resources and maximizing business partnerships.
The following are main tasks of the Advisory Council:
1. Develop strategies and recommendations for expanding Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s global branding and impact in preparing globally-minded, professionally competent, and socially responsible citizens.
2. Develop strategies and recommendations for making Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ a preferred university of choice for international students and global learning for all.
3. Develop strategies and recommendations for enhancing global awareness, understanding and appreciation as an integral part of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s ethos.
4. Develop strategies for raising funds to supplement the University’s international student scholarship and study abroad scholarship programs.
5. Identify and develop a pool of internship sponsors for international students.
